The film follows Samidha (Suri), an Indian-American teenager who is struggling with her cultural identity. Samidha rejects her Indian culture and family to be like everyone else at school. However, when a mythological demonic spirit latches onto her former best friend, Samidha must come to terms with her heritage to defeat it.
